UFC 205lb. #1 Contender?
Who in the UFC is worthy of wearing the #1 contender shirt?
Wanderlei Silva
"The Axe Murderer" has been out of action since he got knocked unconscious by Dan Henderson. Since Dan Henderson loss to Rampage he gets shuffled to the back of the deck which opens the door for Silva. Also, Wanderlei has two devastating knockout wins over Quinton Jackson from their time in Pride.
Options:
1)Contender match at December show aganist Jardine or Forrest.
2)UFC has upsetitis, put him in with Rampage by default.
3)Have him fight Chuck Liddell as scheduled and if he wins he gets the next title shot.
Forrest Griffin
Impressive win aganist Mauricio "Shogun" Rua puts him at the top of the division. If Shogun had won he was gonna fight Rampage next. The only thing hindering Griffin from receiving a title shot right away is his knockout loss to Keith Jardine.
Options:
1)Have him fight Wanderlei Silva at December show
2) How do you say You Loss Your Title Shot to a Reality TV Star in Portuguese. He choked out the man that was ranked no. 1 at light heavyweight so give him the next shot at Rampage.
3)Rematch aganist Keith Jardine to determine who fights Rampage.
Keith Jardine
Moves way up the rankings with a split decision win aganist the best 205lb. champ in UFC history Chuck Liddell. Would get te next available title shot but he just loss Houston Alexander in his fight before last. Even though it would be nice to see Quinton pick Keith Jardine apart he might need one more win to get his chance.
Options:
1)Have the Cops on speed dial and give him The "Axe Murderer". He beat Chuck Liddell, give him Wanderlei who Chuck was supposed to fight next.
2)REVENGE! Have him avenge his knockout loss to Houston Alexander
3)Give Forrest a chance to avenge his loss
Lyoto Machida
The Karate point fighter and decision fighter is undefeated. His style might make you want to take a nap but in his last fight he made an effort to finish the fight. What more can you ask for. As they say, Rome wasen't built in a day. If he steps it up in his next match and wins by spectacular knockout aganist a notable fighter or at the very least doesn't make me want to take my own life while watching him fight he should be in the title picture.
Options:
1)All the kids want the name brands!! Give him Chuck, Shogun, Jardine, Tito, Alexander or Rashad.
2)Like your first day in jail, Machida needs to make someone his bitch. He needs to stop all the f--king counter attack stuff. Go and knock someone the F--K out.
Houston Alexander
Nebraska's in the House!!! Needs more wins in the UFC. Also needs to show that he can survive aganist someone with an actual gameplan that doesn't involve receiving brain damage.
Options:
1)WIN and WIN BIG.
2) "If you master the five Ds, no amount of balls on earth can hit you." Show that you have all the elements of a well rounded mma fighter.
Honarable Mentions
Rashad Evans - Momentum killed by draw with Tito Ortiz. Should skip that rematch and fight someone new.
Tito Ortiz - The second most excited person in the world when Rampage took Chuck out. Shot himself in the foot by getting a point deducted then gasing out in the third round in his fight aganist Rashad Evans

I like the idea of Tito fighting someone other than Rashad in a rematch. the rematch has no interest for me. Machida, Jardine, etc, all good ideas for Tito. Rashad, I'd like to see how he matches up with someone like Wanderlei, frankly. Is he for real? Put him against a real fighter. There's a TON of great LHW matchups (don't forget Hamill, too, and Count Douche) that make more sense than Rashad-Evans II.
Forrest definitely deserves to either be next, or to fight for next. That's all there is to it.
